Bandai is the largest Japanese toy manufacturer. Among other things, the company also sells licensed products for successful children’s TV series and films. Together with the Dutch puzzle specialist JUMBO and the German UNIVERSUM FILM, the company markets the merchandising products for the well-known KiKa children’s TV series “Pocoyo”. public affairs worked on the public relations for the German launch. The goal was to use targeted PR to build up brand awareness and popularity in the core target groups of children, parents and grandparents and to generate listing enquires and sales impulses.
Further Bandai products were also effectively positioned on the market by public affairs: from the Manga toys Pretty Cure to the oracle doll Unazukin, the cult toy Puchi Puchi or the dolls Star Friends and Key Tweens.
