Brüssow & Petri
The Cologne-based law firm of Brüssow & Petri – with its focus on commercial and traffic law – has been working successfully for 25 years and has established itself both regionally and nationally. The law firm turned to public affairs to handle its media and PR work. The goal was to increase the renown of the law firm outside of Cologne and thereby establish an image that is more trustworthy than that of the competition.
In order to establish the law firm as a national expert in criminal law, economic law topics with a criminal law relevance were discussed and placed in the media together with a comment from Brüssow & Petri. Brüssow, in his position as a lawyer, is also positioned in the media as the author of specialised books on these legal topics. The skill of the law firm is further underlined and the image strengthened.
Within the first year of public affairs’ mandate for Brüssow & Petri we successfully attracted a lot of positive attention by placing the name of the law firm in the national daily papers and national financial papers. Through our theme management and our statement campaign, the law firm generated a lot of public attention.
