Neonode
Neonode is a Swedish company that specialises in touch screen technology for mobile phones. Their newest product is introduced onto the German market in 2008: smaller than a credit card and available in black and four other colours, the Neonode N2 is one of the smallest touch screen mobile phones in the world. A very special feature of this mobile phone is that the Neonode N2 functions completely without the standard telephone keypad and is completely operable simply by sweeping the screen.
Public Affairs develops a concept for the launch of the Neonode N2 and for marketing support in Germany. By using focused, target-group specific communications for industry and general-public journalists, the Neonode N2 quickly becomes known to core target group. Combining press releases precisely tailored to the media target group, our personal contacts to key journalists, the lancing of test phones as well as creating media co-operations with leading lifestyle and youth media, we ensure a rapid growth in the awareness for Neonode. This approach firmly anchors the phone’s USPs, its size, extravagant design, optical touch screen and its innovative and intuitive control concept within the target group.
Articles in industry and general public publications increase the interest in selling and marketing the Neonode (push) as well as generating consumer demand for the product (pull).
