When optic66 was founded as the first mobile optician for senior citizens at the end of 2006, the company commissioned public affairs to take care of PR and lobbying. The goal was to position and establish optic66 as the service partner for old age homes and nursing homes.

The general theme for the entire communications is “Sight for Seniors”. The aim is to find people active in politics who will support the topic of “Preventing accidents through good vision”.

The direct communications with old age homes, nursing homes and their sponsors through the agency is the third pillar and an excellent support for direct sales and marketing.

This three pillar communication concept received a very positive echo resulting in an increase in demand and a long-term expansion of the national sales network. New co-operative agreements with sponsors for the old age and nursing homes ensure the growth of optic66, while the reports in the media increase the interest in the services of this mobile optician for senior citizens.
